First Ladies and Gentlemen unite for Mental Health Awareness Month campaign
Each year, the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform joins the global Mental Health Awareness Month in May to support a sincere, human-centred conversation on emotional well-being, care, and the power of small daily habits.
This year’s international campaign is titled ‘1000 Pieces of Your Mental Health.’ It reminds us that taking care of oneself doesn’t always require great effort. Sometimes, it’s a small routine that gives us a sense of grounding, identity, and presence in our own lives.
Now in its third consecutive year, the campaign once again brings together First Ladies and Gentlemen worldwide, united by the initiative of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform.
The campaign was developed in collaboration with the Saatchi&Saatchi Ukraine agency, which co-created the concept and visual identity alongside the Platform.
Our call to you is to reflect on and share the small things that help you stay mentally strong — the moments, rituals, or habits that bring comfort, strength, and a sense of connection.
The campaign speaks English, Ukrainian, and Spanish, uniting First Ladies and Gentlemen, leaders, artists, veterans, and members of the global community who want to share a piece of their real, everyday selves to support others. It’s an open invitation to an honest, unpolished, but deeply meaningful dialogue about mental health — free from stigma, full of empathy.
Among the many supporters joining this year’s campaign are the Spilne Art, Superhumans, Unbroken National Rehabilitation centre, the ‘How are U?’ mental health initiative, artists, veterans, and others who have shared the everyday habits that help them feel calm and balanced.
The campaign has already garnered the support of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, who shared a post on social media expressing her solidarity with the initiative.
‘1000 Pieces of Your Mental Health’ is a campaign for everyone.
It creates a shared space where what matters is not your title or role — but what keeps you going.
An important element of the campaign is a curated list of verified mental health resources and organisations in different countries. This guide is designed to support anyone seeking help, advice, or care, making mental health support more accessible and visible, regardless of where they are in the world.
Joining the campaign is easy:
Explore the visuals, choose the pieces that speak to you, share them on social media, and tell us about your own ‘piece’ — the small thing that keeps you grounded every day.
Because mental health starts with something simple.
And maybe your small thing will become someone else’s inspiration.
Follow the campaign and stay connected:
