The First Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen took place on August 23rd, 2021, in Kyiv. The main focus of the event was “Soft Power in the New Reality.”

The summit resulted in the adoption of a joint declaration on international cooperation and assistance in resolving pressing humanitarian issues and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The theme of the central panel was “Better cooperation for a better world: what’s the best answer to the new challenges?”. There was also a thematic panel titled “Key to the new reality: leave no one behind”.

The Second Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen took place on the 23rd of July 2022. Its theme was “Ukraine and the World: The Future We (Re) Build Together”.

The summit was conducted as a teleconference between five countries. The main studio was located in Kyiv, with four others in Warsaw, Brussels, Washington, and London.

The summit’s program consisted of five discussion panels:

• “Heart of the world beats in Ukraine”;
• “Temporarily displaced. Solidarity without borders”;
• “Save the childhood”;
• “Health recovery: physical and mental”;
• “She-factor of recovery”.

Before the summit, at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, a fundraising campaign was launched to acquire emergency ambulances for Ukraine.

• The summit consisted of three panels: “Mental Health: The Balance of Resilience and Fragility”;
• “The Impact of War on Mental Health”;
• “The Generation That Will Lead the World in 15 Years”.

The event also featured a presentation of the results of an international sociological survey on mental health and attitudes to it around the world, conducted by the British company Alligators Digital. The survey was conducted in the framework of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are You?” at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine with the support of the World Health Organization.

Additionally, memorandums of medical partnership were signed, as a result of which Ukrainian hospitals gained “sisters” from various parts of the world for cooperation and exchange of experience.
