The First Lady of Iceland, Eliza Reid, and the First Gentleman of Slovenia, Aleš Musar attended Bled Water Forum

On the 13th and 14th of June, the Bled Water Forum took place in the town of Bled in Slovenia. The event was attended by the First Lady of Iceland, Eliza Jean Reid, and the First Gentleman of Slovenia, Dr Aleš Musar. The forum was held under the patronage of the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar.

How we can do more to protect water resources in the climate crisis? This question became one of the main focuses of the meeting.

Slovenia and Iceland have a strong, lasting friendship that stands firmly on the values of the protection of the environment, biodiversity and their rich water resources. The issue of the modern climate crisis is gaining more and more public attention. Such an example of cooperation between First Ladies and Gentlemen to address environmental issues is significant for the Global Platform of the First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit.
