Olena Zelenska spoke to the Slovenian magazine Onaplus about cultural diplomacy, and the importance of Ukraine’s victory for the world.

The First Lady of Ukraine spoke about the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform, a unique professional club of spouses of the world’s first persons.

Mrs Zelenska noted the participation of the First Gentleman of Slovenia, Aleš Musar, in the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen in Kyiv, which focused on mental health. The results of research conducted for the Third Summit among 11 countries showed that mental health is among the five biggest global challenges of the future. The impact of the war is felt not only by Ukrainians but by every second respondent. That is why the Third Summit aimed to show the global dimension of mental health and the impact of current events on it.

Dr Aleš Musar also took part in the Global Soft Power Summit in London. There, a panel for the first ladies and gentlemen was held. It revealed impressive numbers: First Ladies and Gentlemen can influence 35% of the factors that make up countries‘ soft power.

The First Lady is convinced that the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform is a community of like-minded people who strive to use soft power to save lives. Therefore, cooperation is the answer and an effective recipe for achieving a common goal.
