About Summit of First Ladies
and Gentlemen Global Platform
The Global Platform brings together a wide range of First Ladies and Gentlemen, experts and organisations who share common values and raises global issues that require multilateral cooperation and a high level of collaboration between participants from all over the world to make the world a better place.
We are looking for solutions to the challenges that concern the whole world and approach them from the perspective of soft power and mutual enrichment of experience.
We believe that strategic partnerships are essential for achieving the goals of the Summit's First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform. That is why we are committed to joint events, projects, research and communication campaigns with international partners who share our mission.
The Summit's Global Platform at international events
On 29 February 2024, we, together with Brand Finance, organised a panel discussion with First Ladies and Gentlemen at the Global Soft Power Summit in London on their role in building soft power. The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Iceland, Eliza Jean Reid and the First Gentleman of Slovenia, Aleš Musar, discussed the challenges and opportunities of the role. At the same time, Brand Finance presented analytics on First Ladies and Gentlemen’s role in shaping the state’s image.
In May 2024, the First Ladies and Gentlemen participated in the Conference on mental health hosted by the First Lady of Serbia, Tamara Vučić. This event continued the discussion that started at the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, with the theme of ‘Mental Health: Fragility and Resilience of the Future’. At the event, we presented analytics from our international research on mental health from 11 nations around the globe.
Partnership
We pay much attention to cooperation with international partners with whom we share common values. After all, we believe that global goals that benefit humanity can only be achieved together.
Thus, in July 2024, we became partners in the Global First Ladies Academy event organised by the Global First Ladies Alliance. The meeting brought together First Ladies from Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. A research study conducted specifically for the Summit’s Global Platform was presented to them: First Ladies and Gentlemen’s Impact on Soft Power.
We cooperate with UNICEF on issues related to children and childhood, and with Ukrainian media and organisations.
Communications to strengthen the role and influence of the First Ladies and Gentlemen
The Summit’s Global Platform highlights the events and initiatives of the First Ladies and Gentlemen on official digital platforms on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube pages, promoting First Ladies and Gentlemen’s role as carriers of soft power, and organises online events and initiatives in cooperation with them.
In May 2024, we ran a social media campaign to mark Mental Health Awareness Month under the hashtag #SoftPowerForMentalHealth. It resulted in a series of posts and videos with the world’s first ladies and gentlemen, media and organisations, in which we drew attention to various aspects of mental well-being, advice from first ladies and gentlemen and the state’s role in preserving the mental health of citizens.
Research of the Summit's Global Platform on relevant modern issues
In our activities and communications, we rely on systematic data collected for us by the best agencies, as we understand the importance of correct data for successfully overcoming challenges.
In September 2023, at the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, we presented international research among 11 countries conducted for us by Alligator Digital. The study highlighted the relevance of mental health now and in the next 20 years, the impact of war on people's mental well-being, and the mental state of young people. The study is based on a survey of 11,000 people worldwide. It contains three main sub-themes: concern about mental health as a challenge for the present and future, mental health in the context of military conflicts, and the state of mental health of adolescents and young people.
In February 2024, Brand Finance presented the results of research on the impact of First Ladies and Gentlemen on soft power conducted for the Summit's Global Platform. The study reveals the impact of First Ladies and Gentlemen on a country's reputation and overall soft power score. It examines the specific aspects of soft power that First Ladies and Gentlemen influence and presents practical cases that allow us to evaluate the performance of First Ladies and Gentlemen from a historical perspective and to adopt best practices.
